Responsible Gaming

1. Our Commitment

Guza Game is licensed by the BCLB (License Number BK 0001319) and is committed to providing a fair, transparent and safe betting environment. We will:

• verify the age of every player before they can wager;
• make responsible-gaming tools easy to find inside your account;
• train our staff to spot signs of problem gambling and refer players to help;
• respond promptly to any self-exclusion or limit request;
• never knowingly market to self-excluded or under-age players.

2. 18+ Only

You must be at least 18 years old to register and play. We verify age against the IPRS database and may request additional documents at any time. Underage gambling is illegal in Kenya — any account suspected of belonging to a minor will be closed and funds returned to the legal guardian or, where appropriate, forfeited to the BCLB.

3. Stay In Control — Quick Tips

• Decide how much you can afford to lose before you start.
• Set a time limit and stick to it.
• Never chase losses — increasing stakes to “win it back” rarely works.
• Don’t gamble while angry, depressed or under the influence of alcohol.
• Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen.
• Treat any winnings as a bonus, not as income.
• Don’t borrow money to gamble.

4. Tools We Offer

Deposit limits

You can set a daily, weekly or monthly maximum on how much you deposit. A reduction takes effect immediately; an increase takes effect after a 24-hour cool-off.

Loss limits

Cap the net amount you can lose over a chosen period. Once the limit is reached, you will not be able to place further wagers until the period resets.

Session reminders

Get an on-screen reminder showing how long you have been logged in and your net result so far. You choose the interval (15, 30 or 60 minutes).

Reality check & cool-off

Pause your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During a cool-off you cannot deposit or bet; existing open bets will be settled as normal.

Self-exclusion

Block yourself from Guza Game for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently. A self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends. We will remove you from all marketing and refund any remaining balance to your M-Pesa.

5. Warning Signs

You may have a problem with gambling if you:

• spend more time or money than you intended;
• lie to family or friends about how much you gamble;
• gamble to escape stress, loneliness or low mood;
• chase losses by placing larger bets;
• borrow money, sell possessions or miss bills to fund gambling;
• feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down;
• have neglected work, school, family or personal care because of gambling.

If any of these sound familiar, please reach out for support — you are not alone.

6. Self-Assessment

Ask yourself honestly:

1. Have I bet more than I could really afford to lose?
2. Have I needed to gamble with larger amounts to get the same excitement?
3. Have I gone back another day to try to win back what I lost?
4. Have I borrowed money or sold anything to get money to gamble?
5. Has my gambling caused problems at home, work or with my finances?

If you answered “yes” to two or more, we strongly encourage you to set a deposit limit, take a cool-off or self-exclude, and to speak to one of the support services below.

If you are in immediate danger or thinking of harming yourself, please call 999 or go to your nearest hospital.

8. Protecting Family Members

If someone you love is gambling at Guza Game and you are worried about them, email responsible@guzagame.com. We cannot share account information with you due to privacy laws, but we can receive your concern, investigate within our policies and act where permitted (for example by initiating welfare checks or by self-excluding a verified joint account holder).

Consider installing filtering software on shared devices, such as Gamban or BetBlocker, which block access to gambling sites and apps.

9. Our Operational Safeguards

• Affordability prompts when deposit patterns change quickly;
• Mandatory verification before the first withdrawal;
• Monitoring for markers of harm such as chasing losses or all-night sessions;
• No credit — you can only bet with your own funds;
• Clear display of net win/loss in the last 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days.
